The National Junior Beta Club recognizes high academic achievement, promotes character and social responsibility, encourages service involvement to school and community, fosters leadership skills, and provides settings for your child to develop interpersonal relationship skills.
Students are selected for membership into JNBC during the fall semester. Academic eligibility is based on the student's academic average from the previous school year. However, membership also requires that each student display the beta ideals of scholarship, leadership, service, and characters at all times. Beta club encourages the growth of the whole student.
For a student to be invited, he/she must be recommended by the Faculty Council. The Faculty Council consists of core teachers from the student's grade level. Once a candidate is approved for invitation, the student receives a formal invitation letter and a group induction ceremony is planned. New induction typically take place at the end of October.
