Search for disabled children and youth in Dale County, Alabama

The special education coordinators of the Dale County Schools, the Daleville City Schools are in the process of identifying all children with disabilities from birth to 21 years of age, who are not presently receiving special education services.

If you know of any disabled child or youth that is not being served in a school program, please contact Mrs. Renae Wilkerson, Dale County Board of Education, (334) 774-2355; Mrs. Julie Sconyers, Daleville City Schools, (334) 598-2456; or Mrs. Susan Cox, Ozark City Schools, (334) 774-5197.

 

Search for intellectually gifted children and youth in Dale County, Alabama

Intellectually Gifted children and youth are those who perform at high levels in academic or creative fields when compared with others of their age, experience, or environment. These children and youth require services not ordinarily provided by the regular school program. Children and youth possessing these abilities can be found in all populations, across all economic strata, and in all areas of human endeavor.

Please notify the school counselor, gifted teacher, or special education coordinator if you would like to refer a child to the gifted program.
